Early identification of differences in development and early intervention is\u00a0important for the child\u2019s development.\u00a0 Each family is unique and caregivers know their child\u00a0the best and so while planning interventions, better outcomes are achieved if the family and\u00a0therapists work together.<\/p>\n<p>Opening the doors is a campaign that encourages professionals to invite parents and\u00a0caregivers of children to be present in the therapy rooms during sessions. This may\u00a0form the first step to building positive partnerships with families.<\/p>\n<p>Caregivers often give doctors\/therapists a peek into what happens at home and their inputs\u00a0about the child\u2019s likes, dislikes, behaviours etc, help in making therapy interventions more\u00a0meaningful.
