Key Takeaways:
We are currently working on the key takeaways for this article. They will be available soon.

Problems associated with vision development in babies can be picked up as early as a week after the birth of the child. Being aware of signs that are indicative of problems in your child’s vision will allow you to prevent long term damage, and receive medical help as soon as possible. The infographic above provides a checklist that parents may use to become careful observant of their child’s visual behaviour and understand the changes one would expect to see with an increase in the age of their child.

Should you spot red flags associated with your child’s visual behaviour, please do not cause any delay in addressing those concerns. Immediately visit your Paediatrician/Ophthalmologist (eye specialist) to get your child assessed further.

We have also developed an infographic to help you understand milestones associated with the development of hearing in your child. Also, you can check out his article on how to promote language development skills in your child.
