Down syndrome is one of the most common genetic disorders that occur worldwide. It is a genetic defect that cannot be prevented or cured. It manifests itself due to extra copies of genes from the 21st chromosome. Research in this field has shown that a random error in the structure of 21st chromosome contributes to Down syndrome. It is one of the most common genetic disorders in the world. Hence it is imperative to arm yourself with the right kind of information and its management strategies. It is also equally important to be aware of down syndrome myths existing in the space.

Children with Down syndrome are as able as typical children when given the right kind of support and medical guidance as EARLY AS POSSIBLE. Routine health monitoring and care can have a long-standing positive impact on the child’s health. This can have a chance for improved quality of life.

A key aspect of raising awareness of a disorder comes by abolishing myths and common misconceptions surrounding it. Myths often portray any defect in the wrong light, thus adding to the ignorance surrounding the disorder. In the presentation below, we have tried to help dismiss false information. And promoting the truth about the life and likes of people living with Down syndrome.
