  • Vision
To enable and equip families affected by developmental disabilities to be the change-agent in the development of their loved one, and not leave any family behind.

    Mission
To provide hope and support to parents as primary caregivers of children touched by autism, down syndrome and other developmental disabilities.

To build an evolving ecosystem and a strong interactive community of all stakeholders including health and education providers, non-governmental organizations, and other families.

To drive the reach countrywide through the power of digital technology and innovation, in an understood language

  • In 2015, Nayi Disha’s journey began with a core belief that family caregivers are the true changemakers in the lives of their children. For the past 10 years, we have been focused on building a thriving and evolving community and ecosystem where parents and caregivers are well-informed, guided and supported.

Our work tells the story of thousands of caregivers who have found strength, support, and solidarity in moments of confusion and isolation. It’s the story of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) whom we aim to keep empowering with better access to services, verified information, and awareness of their rights. It’s also the story of communities coming together, supporting each other and of professionals guiding with empathy and their expertise, and of ecosystems slowly becoming more inclusive.
We are proud of the milestones we have achieved, but what truly drives us are the connections that have shaped this journey; the caregivers who trust us, the partners who believe in us, and the small, everyday victories that remind us why Nayi Disha exists.

      • Comprehensive

We see your need as holistic, and we strive to provide the most complete care and support that matches your experience as a family member

      • Resourceful

In order to empower you, we are ourselves evolving to become more resourced, more reachable, more relevant and more resilient in our ability to support

      • Trusted

We grow with your trust in us, and seek to acquire and present more scientific and accurate information that is continually verified

      • Caring

Our partnership with families is life-long, firm and founded on our passion and dedication to the cause of an inclusive society

      • Progressive:

We forever look to the future with hope and believe that the power of collaboration can make magic happen.

Coming together of all stakeholders has evolved into a thriving ecosystem towards supporting families affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are humbled by the participation and collaborations with physicians, therapists, educators, schools, other NGOs and especially families in this effort. We salute the power of families and communities we serve.
